Sometimes you need to relocate to a new place in order to carry out your living. You will see new work, new company, new people, new city, new culture, new country. You may be lucky to have a job in your hand or need to put efforts to grab a job. Keep in mind that Family is biggest asset in your good and bad times.
Let's consider the scenario one by one
If you have work
1. If you are away from family try to speak at least once to your loving ones, you need to understand the fact that they are worried for you.
2. If you have web cam - have video conversation.
3. See if you can visit your home during weekends.
4. Don't miss birthday of your spouse, kids and loved one.
5. Send surprise gifts
6. See movies you love, hear music, read novels.
7. Try to mix up with new people, new dishes.
8. Share your experience (photos) with your family members.
9. Go for the parties, tourist places, have fun.
10. Avoid alcohol and do meditation which will help you to concentrate better.
11. Keep looking options to either find work where your family stays or bring your family to new place.
12. Stay together as much as you can as life is too short and these moments are worth more than $$$
13. Always remember you are working to earn enough to give better life to your family members, home to your spouse or loved one, better education to your kids. You are not working for money.
14. Have your food on time, take care of yourself, as no one is here to say - "Darling.. your breakfast is ready :)
If you don't have work in your hands -
It might be possible that your city does not offer you job you want to or not having enough opportunities
1. Try to meet people, relatives, contacts in this new city
2. Based on your profile, resume and work experience you need to decide whether you need to apply for positions by email or by in-person.
3. Be aware with frauds and people who used to do scam by different ways.
4. Don't give money to anyone unless and until you are known to the person from long time and have confidence on him.
5. Apply your resume to local job sites, visit company offices.
6. Apply to local employment exchange and take guidance from Govt authorities.
7. Try to find out a place where you can have a sound sleep and make conversation with your family at least once. Keep them warm and share updates.
8. Do meditation and listen soft music, read motivational books.
9. Have confidence in your abilities.
