Sirkus Eliassen is a Norwegian band made of the
brothers Magnus Eliassen and Erik Eliassen. It was formed in 2011 releasing its
single "Hjem til dæ" that became a hit on VG-lista, the official
Norwegian Singles Chart peaking at #16 in September 2011.
Magnus Eliassen, one half of the duo, already had
success as a solo singer for many years and had released his EP Tinglysing
under the pseudonym Magnetisk Nord and his solo studio album Second Grace in
2005 also winning the by: Larm Audience Award in 2006.
In November 2011 they released their second single
"Opp ned bak frem", followed by in
February 2012 and "Før du går" in June of the same year.
